"Voices of the Tempest" is a project about the seventy-four day Falkland Islands/Malvinas war between Great Britain and Argentina (April 2-June 15, 1982). While its implied subject is war, people are entirely absent from the work. Instead, Groisman's images document the physical sites of conflict, drawing on the tradition of landscape photography to evoke the haunted aura of former battlefields.
